Hamouds is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We are partially conformant — most pages meet AA criteria; some content may not yet fully conform.
Technical Specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance:

- CSS3 / Tailwind CSS
- JavaScript (vanilla, minimal)
- WAI-ARIA where semantic HTML is insufficient
Known Limitations
- Some older uploaded images may lack descriptive alt text — we are updating these progressively.
- Third-party embedded content (e.g. maps) may not fully meet accessibility standards.
- Rich text blog content is not yet checked against all WCAG criteria.
Measures We Have Taken
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer, article, section)
- ARIA labels on interactive elements where needed
- Colour contrast checked for light and dark modes
- Mobile navigation with keyboard focus trap and Escape-to-close
- Respects
prefers-reduced-motion— all animations suppressed when requested - All form fields have visible labels
- Images include descriptive alt text attributes
- Language and text direction set on the
<html>element (including RTL for Arabic)
